Self-serve paddle rentals for marinas

Take quick walk-up rentals off the counter so your dock staff can focus on slips, fuel, and service.

Why it works for marinas

Even marinas that already rent kayaks and paddleboards spend a lot of staff time on the smallest transactions: a one-hour kayak, a couple who wants to paddle before lunch, a family that walks up on a busy Saturday. Each one means paperwork, payment, a life jacket fitting, and a dock hand pulled away from higher-value work.

A Launch Lockers rack handles those rentals on its own. Customers book, pay, sign the waiver, and unlock their gear on their phones, without waiting in line. Keep your existing fleet for longer trips, tours, and premium rentals, and let the rack pick up the quick ones.

The result is lower overhead per rental, shorter lines on peak days, and a better experience for customers who just want to get on the water.

How a pilot works

We're choosing our first partners now. Here's what getting started looks like.

  1. Talk it through

Tell us about your property and goals. We'll look at where a rack fits and which arrangement makes sense.

  2. Agree on terms

Zero-cost, custom, or owning the equipment. We'll put it in a simple written agreement.

  3. Install and stock

We set up the rack, signage, and gear. Renters can book from day one.

  4. Review together

After the pilot, we look at how it went with you and decide what's next.

Questions we hear

Will this compete with our rentals?

It's designed to complement them. The rack handles quick, self-guided rentals, while your staffed fleet focuses on tours, longer trips, and higher-end gear.

Where would the rack go?

Near a launch ramp, beach, or low dock where renters can get on the water safely and away from boat traffic. We'll look at options with you on a site visit.

What does a rack cost a property?

It depends on the arrangement. On a zero-cost deployment, we pay for the rack and gear, and a small portion of rental revenue is shared with you. You can also purchase the equipment to keep a larger share, with a small ongoing platform fee, or set up something in between.

Talk to us about a pilot

Tell us a bit about your property and we'll follow up to talk through fit, placement, and terms. No commitment.
