Self-serve kayak and paddleboard rentals for waterfront properties

Give visitors, residents, and guests an easy way onto the water. We install, stock, insure, and run the rental rack, and we're flexible on how the partnership works.

What a rental rack does for your property

Paddle rentals are one of the easiest ways to get people onto the water. Running them yourself means staff, scheduling, waivers, payments, and gear upkeep. A Launch Lockers rack takes all of that off your plate.

  • No staff required

Renters book, pay, sign the waiver, and unlock their gear on their phones. Nobody has to run a counter, take cash, or hand out paddles.

  • Insured, with digital waivers

Launch Lockers is insured, and every renter signs a waiver on their phone before any gear unlocks.

  • We handle the gear

We install the rack and stock, clean, maintain, and replace every board, kayak, paddle, and life jacket.

  • We handle the renters

Booking, payments, refunds, and renter questions come to us, not your front desk or office line.

  • Revenue without new costs

On a zero-cost deployment, you earn a share of rentals without buying equipment or adding payroll.

  • You set the rules

Rentals run during the hours and seasons you choose, at a spot on your property that works for you.

Flexible partnership options

Every property is different, so we don't force one contract. Pick the setup that fits your budget and goals.

  • Flexible

    Custom arrangement

Want to cover part of the equipment cost for a larger share, start with a one-season pilot, or set seasonal terms? We'll build an arrangement around your budget and goals.

    • Terms built around your budget
    • Pilot-friendly
  • Larger share

    Own the equipment

Purchase the racks and gear yourself and keep a larger share of rental revenue. We still run everything renters touch: booking, payments, waivers, and support, for a small ongoing platform fee.

How a pilot works

We're choosing our first partners now. Here's what getting started looks like.

  1. Talk it through

Tell us about your property and goals. We'll look at where a rack fits and which arrangement makes sense.

  2. Agree on terms

Zero-cost, custom, or owning the equipment. We'll put it in a simple written agreement.

  3. Install and stock

We set up the rack, signage, and gear. Renters can book from day one.

  4. Review together

After the pilot, we look at how it went with you and decide what's next.

Partner questions

What does a rack cost a property?

It depends on the arrangement. On a zero-cost deployment, we pay for the rack and gear, and a small portion of rental revenue is shared with you. You can also purchase the equipment to keep a larger share, with a small ongoing platform fee, or set up something in between.

Do we need staff to run it?

No. Renters book, pay, sign the waiver, and unlock their gear on their phones. We handle renter support.

Is Launch Lockers insured?

Yes. Launch Lockers is insured, and every renter signs a digital waiver before they unlock any gear.

We already rent kayaks. Why add a rack?

A self-serve rack handles quick, walk-up rentals without tying up staff, so your team can focus on guided trips, events, or other work, and renters skip the line.
