Questions
Do I need experience?
No. Inflatable boards and sit-on-top kayaks are built for beginners. If you've never paddled, start on calm water close to shore and stay in sight of the launch.
What do I need to bring?
A phone to scan and pay, plus water, sunscreen, and clothes you don't mind getting wet. The paddle and life jacket are in the locker.
Do I have to wear the life jacket?
Yes. Keep it on the whole time you're on the water.
What if the weather turns?
Head back to shore at the first sign of lightning, strong wind, or fog, and return your gear. Check the forecast before you rent.
How old do I have to be to rent?
The renter who signs the waiver must be 18 or older. Kids can paddle with an adult who rented the gear.
